Re-purposed old A-frame ladder.

We had an old A-frame ladder with sentimental value that was too dangerous for use anymore. I remember this ladder so well growing up, my Grandpa always on it.  So we really did not want to throw it out and luckily we needed some shelves. We are trying to get the more farm house crafty style going on in our home.  Slowly...now we are thinking why didnt we do this before?

To create this project we left the ladder pretty much alone.  I still wanted to see all of the paint spills etc.  My DH just rubbed over it with Old English and used the fence pickets that he picked up awhile back.  We still have several of those left over, and they were all free.  I thought it would be the perfect place to showcase all of the knick knacks from my Grandparents.  This project was all FREE!!!   I just realized both batteries for my camera are drained, so I just took this picture with a new app on my phone.   :)
